SELF HELP PROJECT – INTERIM REPORT
August 2011 to December 2011.
Project Title : Arputha Matha Students’ Petty Shop (Stationary and Childrens’ Fancy)

It is with great enthusiasm and desire the Self help Project for the students began on 20th August 2011 with the financial Assistance of “SULLE ORME DEI SERVI” group.
The Servite community is really grateful to “Sulle orme dei Servi-vesro il mondo” for the realization of this wonderful expression of service.
The Petty Shop is maintained by the students themselves with the animation of Mrs. Glory, a dedicated teacher in our School. There are 4 students who serve in the Shop taking tern among themselves. They themselves take initiatives for purchasing and selling the goods for reasonable prices. The shop is not expected to yield much profit but to fulfill the directives of the Object proposed and to teach the students to stand on their own.
Until now the students are enjoying the benefit of this shop. They feel the blessing of this shop and procure their study materials from here. Monthly statements of accounts are verified and signed by the responsible. We will send financial report separately in the next few weeks.
The Community, the Teachers and the students of St. Xavier’s High School are really grateful to “Sulle orme dei Servi-verso il mondo” Association for this blessing.

PROGETTO DI AUTO SOSTEGNO–REPORT TEMPORANEO

E’ con grande entusiasmo e volontà che l’auto-progetto a favore degli studenti ha iniziato in data 20 Agosto con l’assistenza finanziaria dell’Associazione “Sulle orme dei Servi-verso il mondo”. La comunità Servitana tutta è sinceramente riconoscente a questa Associazione per la realizzazione di questa splendida espressione di servizio.
Il “Petty Shop” (“negozietto”) è gestito dagli studenti stessi con la direzione della Sig.na Glory, una insegnante impegnata nella nostra Scuola.
Ci son quattro studenti che accudiscono al “negozietto”alternandosi tra di loro. Essi stessi prendono l’iniziativa per acquistare gli articoli di merce e venderli a prezzi ragionevoli . Il “negozietto” non ha lo scopo di far fruttare un buon guadagno, ma di cogliere la finalità dell’obiettivo proposto ed insegnare agli studenti di gestirsi in autonomia.
Fino ad ora gli studenti stanno apprezzando i benefici consentiti da questo “negozietto”.
Essi apprezzano la fortuna di questa realtà e si procurano qui i loro materiali didattici .
Mensilmente i rendiconti contabili sono controllati e sottoscritti dalla responsabile. Vi invieremo i reports contabili entro alcune settimane in forma separata.
La Comunità, gli Insegnanti e gli studenti della Scuola S. Saverio esprimono la loro gratitudine all’Associazione “Sulle orme dei Servi-verso il mondo” per questo “dono del cielo”. Vi auguriamo un Felice Natale ed un Prospero Nuovo Anno.
